The Springfield Area Arts Council launched Friday Night Jazz & Blues as a refreshed version of its original program, Uptown Friday Night, revitalizing it in 2021. Starting in 2025, Boone’s will take on the role of organizing this popular concert series, bringing live jazz and blues to the heart of downtown Springfield year-round.
Join us every Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Boone’s, located at 301 West Edwards Street, for an evening of free, family-friendly, and accessible music. Enjoy performances by talented local, regional, and national bands, with food and beverages available for purchase.

In conjunction with “Friday Night Jazz & Blues,” the Springfield Area Arts Council will host a 50/50 raffle for audience members to participate in every Friday until December 27th, 2024. Raffle proceeds help support the Springfield Area Arts Council in bringing live music to the Springfield area. This is a cash-only raffle. Winners receive half of the money collected, are called during intermission, and must be in attendance to win.
