“Friday Night Jazz & Blues” is a renewed program that began as “Uptown Friday Night” and was revitalized in 2021 under its new moniker. This year-round series of jazz and blues concerts features local, regional, and national bands.

“Friday Night Jazz & Blues” is free, accessible, and family friendly event located at Boone’s. Food and beverage are available for purchase. Boone’s is located at 301 West Edwards Street, Springfield, IL; concerts are on Friday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. The line up for this month is Jambalaya Jazz on the 2nd, Latin Jazz Project on the 9th, Rudy Boz and Friends on the 16th, The Three Tenors on the 23rd, and Trio 404 on the 30th.

In conjunction with “Friday Night Jazz & Blues,” the Springfield Area Arts Council hosts a 50/50 raffle for audience members to participate in.
