The Springfield Area Arts Council (SAAC) and Three Pines Bed and Breakfast take pleasure hosting this second series of Sunday afternoon lectures commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Revolutionary War that ensued.
The programs will be held from 3-5 p.m. at Three Pines, 510 West Sheridan, in Petersburg, Illinois. Light refreshments (tea and snacks) will be available, and each program will include a Q&A period and discussion about the relevant topic. Each program will be introduced by former Illinois State Historical Society Executive Director William Furry.
Tea and Revolution, Part 2, is made possible by generous contributions from Alliance Community Bank, Riverbank Lodge, Three Pines B&B, Moonbeams and Magpies, and community minded citizens of Menard and Sangamon counties.
